Women Farmers – 2 (in collaboration with BLCC, Lahore)

Proposed Duration: 30 April 2001 – 15 June 2001

Objectives:

• To improve the professional productivity and other life skills of women farmers through exposure and capacity building.

• To empower females so that they can improve their status in families and communities.

• To raise awareness amongst female farmers so that they are able to protect their rights.

Activities:

• Workshop held in Lahore for media practitioners to encourage them to help women farmers;

• Conduction of a training programme for women farmers to build their capacities as farmers.
