Education For All Women’s Empowerment through Poverty Alleviation (in collaboration with AIOU, Islamabad)

Proposed Duration: July 2001 – December 2001

Objectives:

• To create awareness about the problems in daily life faced by women through the Basic Functional Education Programme (BFEP);

• To empower women in their daily lives and in society, with a skill development and income generation media learning package.

Activities:

• Survey for identification of target area;

• Creating motivation and forming active Groups in the villages;

• Selection of nominees for the training of Group Leaders;

• Training for group leaders;

• Preliminary/course meetings (one course meeting a month for a total of four months) with those involved with the project at any levels.
