Meena Communication Initiative - Brothers Join Meena (ongoing agreement in process with Balochistan Boy Scouts Association)

Proposed Duration: May – December 2000, (agreement in process)

Objectives:

• To support the capacity building of 10,000 boy scouts and 800 Unit Leaders in 7 districts of Balochistan, on data collection, awareness raising, motivation of parents and follow-up actions on enrollment of girls, immunization, polio day and hygiene.

Activities:

• Orientation meetings for scout commissioners, government officials, religious and community leaders, and local organisations;

• Scout camps to initiate local-level activities;

• Organization of a scout rally.
