Mahbub ul Haq Human Development Review

Purpose and Content:

The Mahbub ul Haq Human Development Review is a new addition to the limited number of journals publishing articles on human development. The journal is published twice a year in July and December. These two issues constitute one volume. The annual index is included in the last issue of the volume. With special focus on the South Asian region, the Review publishes original work on the issues of human development, poverty reduction, gender inequality, regional cooperation, environmental degeneration and governance. It provides a forum for dialogue among development practitioners, policymakers and scholars. It aims at scientifically valid search for appropriate policies, strategies and actions to promote the creation of a humane society in South Asia. The Review intends to benefit from international perspectives on human development issues.
