The center for Population Studies at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine organized a reproductive health conference to present the results of research in Pakistan. The conference also included results from other relevant studies. The report summarizes the presentations and also gives policy recommendations discussed during the conference. The sections of the report are organized according to major dimensions of reproductive health. Each section goes into the detail of all the studies presented at the conference and also highlight the discussion wherever necessary. It also gives a summary of the findings of the 1996-97 Pakistan Fertility and Family Planning Survey that contains the most recent data related to fertility and contraceptive use and was the source of data for a number of detailed studies.
