Users are expected to observe the following rules while utilizing the library services.

• Please leave your personal belongings (such as books, briefcases, handbags, etc.) at the entrance of the library.

• Please submit any book or object for inspection, if so requested by library staff.

• Please do not write, underline or mark library books. The library books are carefully examined on return and the borrower can be held responsible for any defacement or damage to, or loss of library books in his/her possession.

• After consultation please leave books on the reading tables or on the book trucks placed in the reading hall.

• Complete silence should be observed inside the library except for the brief and subdued talk with the library staff at the reference or circulation desk.

• Drinks and eatables are not allowed in the library.

• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the library.
