UNESCO’s Managers course focuses on educational planning and management in situations of emergency and disaster. Instead of having a phases approach, the material was revised and adapted to become a single course. UNESCO targeted District Education Officers (DEOs), their deputies and assistants in Balochistan. UNESCO's implementing partner for this activity is the Bureau of Curriculum and Extension Centre in Quetta. UNESCO has engaged a group of national and international education experts with a strong track record in educational material development and training in emergencies including the earthquake in Pakistan.
