The United Nations System in Pakistan participated in the National Education Festival held at the Sir Syed Memorial Complex in Islamabad on 16 and 17 April 2005. It was organised by the Community Support Programme in collaboration with Pakistan National Club for UNESCO and the Sir Syed Memorial Society. The Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Ms Anisa Zeb Tahirkheli, inaugurated the event. Over 1,000 university students and government officials visited the festival.
