Islamabad - 26 February 2003
The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr. Sergio de Mello, paid an official visit to Pakistan from 24 to 26 February 2003 as part of his dialogue on human rights issues with UN Member States. In Islamabad, the High Commissioner also inaugurated the Eleventh Workshop on Regional Cooperation for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights in Asia and and Pacific.
